cross my heart...

Two lovely little packages dropped through the letterbox this week, I love online shopping as it brings so much happiness when a package finally arrives :-)

Its not often i buy the 'It' thing, but i literally couldnt resist this one. As you've probably noticed i loooove rings and always find an excuse to buy more! Seeing as there is no way i could afford that YSL ring, i decided to buy this infamous double cross ring, and am so glad i did :)

In total, it cost £6.40 (as i get 20% off on asos, through my student discount!), and i can already tell that this is going to be one of my most worn rings.

My second ring purchase is one of those scrabble rings. I know everyone and their nan seems to have both of these rings, but there are some things a girl literally cant resist! I first noticed Pixie Lott wearing one, and then Jameela Jamil on T4, so i googled them and stumbled across VIPXO's blog shop & bought one via paypal ;-)

It cost a total of £3.50, including P&P, and arrived in 6 days. I've also seen them on Ebay and if you dont like shopping online, i've also spotted them at Camden market a few times.

Also a little tip - if rings start to turn your finger green, paint round the inside with clear nailvarnish (2-3 coats!), works everytime.

because tonight i'm loving you...

I haven't posted in over a week! whoops, sorry!!!
This week has been chaotic though, worked 3 days and been overloaded with school work, which i am still trying to get on top of. I haven't really had a chance to take any decent outfit posts, as I've been pretty casual all week, i don't see the point in dressing up for sixth form to be honest.

However, i did find 2 mins this week to try out a new nail varnish. Rimmell 60 Seconds polish in "sky high". Its a bright turquoise colour, so immediately i had good expectations. I think it cost £2.99, same as my normal Barry M's. This was so easy to apply & dried within 20 seconds. It does need two coats, but you can do your nails in 3 minutes if you are in a rush! I would defiantly recommend this as it stayed put for 2 days before chipping, and there are a whole variety of different colours.
Overall Rating - 4.5 / 5

These are the rings I have been wearing most this week -
L-R: Topshop, Republic, Miss Selfridge.

I love this jumper, literally the most comfy / versatile thing in the world. Its from Topshop and costs £25, but i got 10% off with my student discount (I encourage all students to buy a NUS student discount card, I save so much money!). I tend to wear it with jeans, but i did wear it with a black body con skirt and tights which also looked good. Oh and it also comes in navy blue and a berry colour :)

Scarf is from Ebay - £3 :)
Hope you've all had a good week, I promise to try and take more pictures this week. I might do a week round up or something on Saturday if i get any more schoolwork.

Also in case your wondering, my post titles tend to be from the song i am listening to haa! This one is from the new Enrique Iglesias song, Tonight.

crazy little thing called love...

So today i went to see "Love and Other Drugs", starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. Its basically a romantic comedy with a twist and i would defiantly recommend it to you all. Jake and Anne like getting abit naked in this film, so i wouldn't recommend going with your parents haha, could be slightly awkward. Jake is literally the cutest thing ever, all your girls will want your own once you've seen it :)

Anyway blogger wouldn't allow me to add anything to my last post, so here are a few pictures of Benefits "Big Brown Eyes" kit, which one of my friends bought me for my birthday...

The retail price of this kit is £23.50, which I'm sure you'll agree is a tad pricey. However i have to admit i love it.The colours match my skin tone well, and the concealer is much better than expected, i will probably invest in it separately when this one is finished.

Positives - range of colours, pigmented, easy to apply, blendable concealer, appropriate brushes, compact, good packaging & is will last longer than you think.

Negatives - the price (only fault i have found so far!)
Any Benefit cosmetics you would recommend???

delayed new years outfit...

I know that my posts are completley out of order... sorry!

Anyway this is the dress i wore on new years eve. Its from Lipsy and was £60 reduced to £32.50, such a bargain, and i love it! I really wanted a nude colour dress, but after trying on about 100 i have come to the conclusion that i am too pale to rock nudes. I wore this dress with the River Island shoe boots and Miss Selfridge clutch that i mentioned in a previous post.

I also tried some new false lashes, Eyelure Girls Aloud Party Lashes, Nicola. They stayed in place all night, so the brand is a new favourite of mine & they are good enough to wear again, which is always a bonus :)

I hope you all had a wonderful night!
