Back from Egypt!

Sorry for the lack of posts, i've been on holiday in Egypt :)
I had an amazing time, did some amazing things and met some amazing people. Thought i'd share some of the photos i took...
Me swimming in the Red Sea, one of the most amazing experiences of my life!
Teaching the locals to backflip ;)

I took hundreds of photos and wish I could show you them all ;)

This was such a perfect holiday. 2 weeks of stress free nothing-ness! We did quad biking in the mountains, swimming in the red sea and lounging on the beach. The people, especially at the hotel, were some of the most genuine and lovely people i've ever met, which made it even harder to leave.

I would love to go back & would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about going!

I am planning on doing an "Egyptian Haul", so keep an eye out :)

Hope you all had a good Easter!

New In: Revlon Lip Butter & 17 Supreme Shine Lipstick

Right - Revlon lip butter // Left - 17 supreme

Revlon Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie - £7.99
I have been eagerly awaiting trying these every since they came out in the US. When they finally came to England I found my local store only stocking four of the shades (so annoyed), but luckily 'Berry Smoothie' was one of them. It is a gorgeous mid-pink that glides onto the lips, leaving a gorgeous shine. The pigmentation was much better than i expected too! My only gripe is that the staying power is pretty poor, but I kind of expected that as it's essentially a tinted lip conditioner.
Overall - 8/10

17 Supreme Shine Lipstick - Barely Blush - £4.99
Bought this whilst i was away in Liverpool, as i forgot my regular lipstick (doh). At a fiver, you can't really go wrong. Creamy texture, mid pink and pretty packaging... basically everything i look for in an every-day lipstick. However, the packaging constantly has finger prints on, so if you're a bit OCD this might annoy you!
Overall 7/10

BUT -  The colours are so similar! I really don't need both in my collection, as they literally look the same on my lips. The Revlon is slightly more glossy, but that it pretty much the only difference. So if you're looking for a cheaper version, or want one that's slightly matte, the 17 is the one for you... although personally i prefer the Revlon, simply because it's so creamy & has that little bit of gloss!

Week(s) in photos #3...

Remember me?
Little catch up post as I seem to have fallen of the face of the earth the past couple of weeks. Two weeks off now, meaning i have a good few posts coming up, including some reviews of the bits and bobs featured in this post!

1 - Pre night out picture, my hair grew so long, but I had it cut yesterday (boo).
2 - Spent a few days in Liverpool visiting one of the unis. Fell in love with it!
3 - Mythic oil, my new hair savior! Review coming.
4 - My healthy eating plan has gone out of the window... along with my willpower.
5 - Brazil nut body butter (body shop) & Vanilla fountain bbomb (lush) <3
6 - The reason by blog has been so dead!
7 - New bits & bobs, all of which i plan to review this week.

I've also updated the layout, like / not like / think it's crap?

Week in photos #2...

I know everyone is doing these, but i love reading them & they're the easiest thing ever to compose as I take pictures of everything anyway. Bit of a mix of things this week, as its been half term and I've basically just been working and sleeping.

1 - The snow came & it came hard... miserable 2 days!
2 - River Island Necklace, £7. Best bargain i've had in ages, literally goes with everything i own.
3 - I wish i was a cat so i could sleep all day & party all night.
4 - My "celebrity inspired stud bottom bag" aka the Rocco copy... love it.
5 - Delicious new laptop
6 - Sleek Contour Kit, finally found a colour that doesn't exaggerate the fact that i'm from Essex
7 - Westfields @ Stratford. I don't think i like it that much... but i keep going.
8 - My new 'spending' book, trying to keep track of everything.
9 - I'm having a love affair with Lush. My bath is a different colour every night of the week.

If i had all the money in the world / Some spare cash...

Blogging is bad for me. Every week I discover something expensive that I convince myself i need... except i don't have the funds to buy any of these lovely things, because i'm just a bloody student. But I am determined to get a couple of these over the next few weeks (fingers crossed)!

001 - American Apparel Disco Pants (£70)
I have seen a million bloggers sporting these and I have convinced myself that my wardrobe will never be complete without them. The only thing is i'm 5'9, so worried that they won't be long enough, as the website says they're only 30" & i'm usually a 32-4". Oh and the price... that's lame too. However, next time I see them in store I'll be trying them on and praying for a discount to come around.

002 - Ted Baker RONNEE Purse (£69)
I know that nearly seventy quid is a stupid amount to spend on a purse, but mine is falling to pieces (literally) and i feel like a purse is something to invest in, as it can potentially last for years. I'd never save enough for a Mulberry or a MuiMui, so this is my best option. Plus the colour is so bloody cute it's ridiculous.

003 - NARS Laguna Bronzer (£24)
I don't really ever wear bronzer, so why I feel the urgent need to buy this is beyond me (I am ridiculous, I know). I think it's probably the packaging, love it. I would probably be better off buying a blusher, exept i'm banned from buying them as i have so many. Safe to say I'm 98% sure this won't be entering my collection anytime soon.

004 - American Aparell Fisherman Jumper (£66)
Thepersianbabe on youtube has been raving about these jumpers and they look like exactly what i've been after all winter. I really really want one, but not sure i can justify spending so much on one jumper. Most of you probably don't think it's that much, but I've never spend over £40 on what is essentially a slobby jumper. But out of all the above, this is one i may have to 'invest' in!

TOTAL - £229 (I still have a holiday to pay off, so this is NEVER going to happen!)
